I grew up in the country about 45 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. I tend to enjoy the simpler things in life, such as covered bridges, my fur pal Mundee, nature and photography. I am a mostly self taught photographer who isn't afraid to ask others about other techniques as I believe all artist can continue to learn and grow from the work of others. I am lucky enough to live in Chester County Pennsylvania which is home to quite a few covered bridges. Michael, I just lost a longish note I was penning for you. I don't have the time or energy to redo it. Thanks for congrats message on my sale. I looked at all your images. I am presently working on adding more essays to FAA: mavericks/outlaws, cowboys, U.S./Mexico border, Native Americans, etc. FAA is a trial run for my own personal site which will not only feature my stills, but also my short films. Your note was sent to my gmail address. In clicking on the response button I was redirected back to the main FAA site, so I am responding here. Audience reaction remains a mystery to me. Some of my personal favorites have been a bust, while others I am not that crazy about have received numerous clicks. One can't take polls. I try to please myself first. Context is also important. My images are all over the internet. On one site a shot is wildly popular, on another it bombs. So after 50 years of picture taking, I am still learning. David Lee PS. Besides your monochromes and images with muted colors, I also am partial to your flowers, with this one of my favorites.
