About Michael Porchik
I grew up in the country about 45 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. I tend to enjoy the simpler things in life, such as covered bridges, my fur pal Mundee, nature and photography. I am a mostly self taught photographer who isn't afraid to ask others about other techniques as I believe all artist can continue to learn and grow from the work of others. I am lucky enough to live in Chester County Pennsylvania which is home to quite a few covered bridges. I am hoping to one day finish photograhing all of the bridges in the county, after that I can move on to the surrounding counties. I admire your ability to manipulate photos to inspire emotive responses from the viewer. I like this photo for featuring nature's ability to overcome unwelcome circumstances! How could this plant survive under the most unwelcoming window, but there it is growing, thriving! Please indulge my reading so much into this simple shot - I love it for just this reason. Poor little leaf.
