Description
Border Collies are well known for their intense stare that they utilize while herding animals. This same stare is also used on their owners while waitng for a ball or frisbee to be thrown. This is my fur-daughter Mundee waiting for me to throw a tennis ball

Now this is a stalker Michael! I have a Border Collie Mix. Your photo captures the "intensity" perfectly!

Thanks for the kind words Laurie, Just had to hold the ball up by the camera to get the stare perfect.

LOL...Yep, we used to have a border collie mix, and he would fix that stare on his ball and not waver until you picked it up and threw it for him, lol....:) You captured that exact stare here so perfectly!! Great job, Michael!! :)))fv

Great photo! You really captured the focus of a working dog (even if we think it's just play!) :)

Michael- Thanks for your comment on my border collie. You obviously know about them from your photos! I enter paintings in the Meeker International Sheepdog Classic and have won Second Place both years I entered. I need some good reference photos for this year if you have any of a collie working sheep. I must create by Aug 1, so time is getting short!
